Mining Industry Human Resources Council Will Host the Mining Needs You Career Ambassador Showcase on March 27; vFairs to Provide Event Technology

The virtual career showcase will offer insights for high school students into the mining industry with career advice and opportunities to meet career ambassadors. 

Kanata, ON – The Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MiHR) is pleased to announce the Mining Needs You Career Ambassador Showcase on March 27, 2023, using the vFairs event technology platform. The event is free to attend and attendees can register here.

The event will feature talks by mining professionals, post-secondary students, and educators. Attendees will get the chance to speak with career ambassadors about their personal experiences in the mining industry.

“This event is the perfect venue to raise awareness among diverse youth and key influencers about the career opportunities mining offers and the sector’s role in environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and technological innovation,” said MiHR’s Executive Director Ryan Montpellier.
