Volunteer MBC Announced the VX: Youth Virtual Volunteer Expo for May 4, 2024, with vFairs as Technology Partner

Brampton ON – Volunteer MBC, the local volunteer center for Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon, has announced VX: Youth Virtual Volunteer Expo, scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024. The virtual event promises opportunities for youth in the Peel Region and beyond. Registrations are now open.

Geared toward participants of all ages, VX offers attendees a chance to explore volunteer opportunities from their homes. With workshops covering essential topics like mental health and volunteer engagement, participants can expect to gain valuable skills while connecting with like-minded individuals and organizations.

According to Munirah Ameh, Community Engagement Specialist for Volunteer MBC, “It is great to see the enthusiasm of people toward helping their communities. Having a platform that facilitates a seamless meeting between organizations, especially youth-led organizations, is such an amazing thing. We are excited to use this platform to reach the community and connect people to the causes they care about.”

This event will bring together diverse organizations and opportunities under one virtual roof. It serves as a beacon of empowerment, providing youth with the tools and resources they need to make a meaningful difference in their communities.
