After years of exclusively holding in person elder care symposiums, Rothkoff decided to add a virtual element to the event. This meant juggling two types of audiences and ensuring both are nurtured equally.
Going with a hybrid option meant extra responsibility. Since Rothkoff has a small team, with Laura championing many tasks herself, she needed a platform that would help minimize the workload instead of increasing it.
Rothkoff also wanted to increase exposure provided to the vendors and sponsors exhibiting at the event. Additionally, the event also aimed to provide caregivers and professionals working in the industry with more avenues to network with peers, learn about the issues occurring in the industry, and discuss possible solutions.
