[News Release] 2022 UMGC Virtual Financial Wellness Day To Take Place On July 20, With vFairs As a Technology Partner

UMGC will promote financial wellness and planning with its virtual financial wellness day on the 20 of July, 2022. 

Adelphi, Maryland – The 2022 UMGC Virtual Financial Wellness Day will take place on Wednesday, July 20 from 1  to 4 pm EST. This event is aimed at anyone interested in increasing their financial planning knowledge and becoming more responsible with their assets. They can get all the financial advice they need without any cost or any pressure to buy services from the experts at the event. Anyone who wants to register and log in should do so here. 

The aim of this event is to make financial planning more accessible to people. Attendees can ask all the financial questions and concerns they have from a variety of professional financial planners. This advice will come with no strings attached, as the planners will not be selling financial products and services. 

Highly qualified professionals, accompanied by UMGC Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) students, will be stationed at booths and will meet with residents one-on-one to address important financial issues including getting out of debt, retirement planning, investment strategies, income taxes, insurance, mortgages, and foreclosures, among many other topics.  The event will also feature a series of classroom-style educational workshops in the virtual auditorium addressing key personal finance topics, such as the following:

• Home Buying and Refinancing Options
• Does Financial Planning fit in your future?
