The Urban League of Broward County will host the “REDI to Lead Conference” on April 25 with vFairs as the Event Technology Partner

The REDI to Lead Conference aims to empower decision-makers in various business sectors with the necessary resources to fight against systemic racial injustices and drive change on individual and organizational policy levels.

Fort Lauderdale, FL – The Urban League of Broward County (ULBC) is set to host the 2nd annual REDI to Lead virtual conference on April 25, 2023. This year’s virtual event will be presented by Amazon and hosted through the vFairs event platform. 

REDI stands for Racial Equity Diversity & Inclusion and industry leaders from the private and public sectors willing to make a difference are welcome to attend. The Conference will provide attendees with the necessary tools and framework required to achieve equity in the areas of Diverse Talent & Pipeline Development, Workplace Culture, Community Investment, and Supplier Diversity.

The main goals of the REDI Conference are to empower business leaders with learning and engage them with action-oriented solutions that address barriers to workplace equity. “For our workforce to grow and thrive, we must constantly evaluate our progress, take action toward racial equity, and hold ourselves accountable for the change we need to see,” said Dr. Germaine Smith-Baugh, president and CEO of the Urban League of Broward County. “We hope our attendees leave informed, inspired, and ready to make a difference.”
