vFairs has helped host over 5000 events so far, which brought over 2 million attendees from around the world. The awards celebrate the achievements of virtual and hybrid events conducted throughout the year.
The Eventeer Awards have been a very anticipated event for our customers since it’s inception in 2021, and we couldn’t be more proud to share that vFairs Eventeer Awards have been ranked as the #1 Virtual Award Show at the 10th Annual BizBash Event Experience Awards.
The Eventeer Awards is a unique event within the industry that garnered recognition at the BizBash Experience Awards for its immersive experience showcasing vFairs’ clients and serving as a great use case for other event planners. The event stood out with its design, which made attendees feel like they were at the virtual Oscars or Golden Globes.
The awards celebrated the outstanding success of vFairs’ customer events from the past year and brought together the events community to celebrate their accomplishments. The awards ceremony also highlighted the various ways vFairs’ features can be used to better serve individual event purposes, showcasing the versatility of the platform.
With 200 nominations, 6000 votes, and 700 attendees, the Eventeer Awards met its criteria for success and empowered the vFairs team and its illustrious clients. It is a shining example of how events can be used to recognize and celebrate success in the industry, and offers a blueprint for other event planners looking to create immersive and unique experiences for their attendees.
vFairs made full use of its own platform in a manner other hosts would do. Its own features were used to provide a state of the art virtual event experience, that too with vFairs’ remarkable team effort.
The vFairs Eventeer Awards landing page featured an event overview, the agenda, and major highlights of the event. Sugar Ray’s, Mark Mcgrath, provided the promotional video to the event singing the number one song from 1997!
vFairs has an art of bringing in new and unique ideas for the events it hosts. For our very own Eventeer, we had an exhibit hall that displayed all the nominees in each award category. It was called the Virtual Hall of Fame, and was a great way for all nominees to feel appreciated.
Attendees could visit the halls of fame to see each category and scroll through the various nominees. Attendees could either view the images and descriptions here or even hop onto the event’s URL.
With the use of hashtags or simply scanning the QR code on the website and creating a post, all social media posts shared by nominees, hosts and their friends were then featured on the social wall. This was a great way for attendees to be engaged prior to the event. They could then see some of their hard work pay off by scrolling through the social wall.
DJ Supermix from New York City really kept the audience engaged with wonderful music. The chatroom was full of exciting comments and even birthday wishes which DJ Supermix gave a shoutout. This piece was a huge success, and a great way for attendees and the vFairs team to unwind and interact in a less formal setting than within the awards ceremony.
No event is complete with taking into account the audience feedback and response. The Eventeer Awards 2022 were a big hit, with attendees enjoying the unique features like the wrap party and nominee hall of fame.
vFairs also set an example of how its platform can be used to the best of its ability, including the use of diverse avatars ensuring inclusivity, customizing certain features such as the red carpet, event exterior and auditorium. The virtual DJ certainly engaged the audience with shout outs in the chat.
The feedback we received throughout the process was extremely positive as well. Our nominees kept promoting via social media, emails, press releases and more to ensure they got as many votes as possible for their event. Here’s some (anonymous) feedback received from nominees:
“I just wanted to say thank you so much for the nomination. We feel extremely grateful that we were able to host another event through your platform”
“Thank you so much, we will share this ASAP. We would be honored to win this award!”
“This is VERY exciting!”
Needless to say, our nominees were just as excited as we were about the Eventeer Awards.
We’re hoping for Eventeer Awards 2023 to make a bigger mark!
