Ministry of Health and Wellness Presents 13th Annual National Health Research Virtual Conference November 16-18, 2022 NHRC will be executed using vFairs Event Technology

The conference will bring together entry level, mid-level & senior level doctors, nurses, health policy personnel, scientists, researchers and policy-makers to discuss research conducted within the public health system, specifically about Combatting Non-Communicable Diseases.

Kingston, Jamaica – The Ministry of Health and Wellness has announced that they will be hosting their 13th annual National Health Research Conference virtually through the vFairs virtual event platform. The conference will take place from November 16-18, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily. Interested parties can register here.

The theme for this year’s event is “Combatting Non-Communicable Diseases: Looking to a Healthier Future”, and will feature high quality abstracts on diet and nutrition, health economics, physical activity and exercise and health status of healthcare workers as well as other research related to the event theme. The event will consist of oral presentations, poster presentations, virtual networking, special presentations and workshops for attendees and researchers to discuss and share knowledge around the subject matter.

This event is in its 13th year of staging, and has established itself as one of the largest conferences in the English speaking Caribbean that brings together residents within the Caribbean and Diaspora, where clinical and non-clinical science and medical personnel can share knowledge and showcase their research. This is the main forum organized by the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Jamaica, to highlight research conducted within the public health system.
