Our New User Journeys and Event Data Give You Better Insight into Attendee Behaviour

As more and more companies opt for online events, it is important to understand the user experience at virtual events. The greatest power of a virtual event is the power of data, reports and analytics, i.e, event data. Numbers don’t lie. They present the most honest picture of how successful your event was.

vFairs is always a step ahead in understanding what our customers want, and delivering it. Our platform helps you visualize individual attendee journeys, facilitating your understanding of your attendees behavior through event data. You get answers to questions such as, “which parts of the event were a success in drawing in the audience and successfully engaging them?”.

Enhancing your understanding of how attendees navigate and engage with your event will give you the power to make improvements with future events, and design event strategies accordingly. With vFairs, you can generate a timeline that tracks your attendees movements with actions.

Event Data You Can Measure with User Journeys

You can get event data on the following:

Registration: the time and date of registration, and data for ‘live days’

Login/Logout: the time and date of login and logout of the event

Attendee navigation: when the attendee landed in the virtual space, where did the journey start from, where was the first visit

Booths visited: the number of booths the attendee visited

Webinars watched: the number of webinars he/she watched and engaged in

Content saved/downloaded: what content interested the participant the most and what they saved in their swag bag and downloaded for future reference

Chat conversations: how many chats did the attendee initiate

Interactions: how much did the attendee interact with other attendees and exhibitors

Scavenger hunt: see if the attendee participated in the scavenger hunt and how successful they were

You can search attendees by their email addresses. Additionally filter by activity to get detailed statistics. For instance, see how many webinars the attendee was a part of, and how much time he spent in each webinar.  Moreover, you can export the entire event data from the user journey to CSV, all of it or just the filtered data you require.

Applying This Data To Your Event KPIs

This data can be extremely useful when we equate them to the event KPIs set before the event. Plus giving your company audience insights. Here are a few sample use cases where measuring the user journey would be helpful:

  • During or after the event, you can select a random sample of attendees who fit your target audience. You can see how each of them behaved. Whether they actually attended the sessions, exhibit booths, downloaded the documents you anticipated or not.
  • For recruiting events (such as companies hiring or schools looking to recruit new students), you can check who attendees interacted with during the event. Whether they downloaded any specific materials or attended any webinars to learn more about the school/company. This would help inform your future conversations with prospects.
  • For sales and networking events, such as virtual conferences and trade shows, if an attendee has booked a meeting with a rep, the rep can review what materials the attendee reviewed leading up to booking the meeting. This will help inform the conversation at the meeting. It will also give you a better idea about what your active prospects are interested in.
  • Incase of trade shows for instance, you can see how many products were added to the shopping cart. How many products attendees showed interest in, helping you understand what they were looking for.

The world of virtual events is expanding.  vFairs makes sure you are empowered to host successful events going from stride to stride with each one. Mapping the entire user journeys in virtual events, capturing event data is one sure shot way of ensuring you host events that create impact.
