STEM Virtual Career Fair- Focus Areas & Solutions

Keeping in mind these challenges, constraints and key objectives that APUS wanted to accomplish for their MBA students, the vFairs team created a bespoke virtual career fair solution. Ensuring a memorable virtual career fair experience meant not only catering to job seeker needs, but also streamlining key recruitment functions for employers. The vFairs team incorporated a handy resume search feature that enabled exhibitors to filter applicants based on first name, last name and security clearance status to help them find talent without having to painstakingly sift through heaps of paper based applications.

 

4) Career Coaching Facilities To Empower Students:

To further make the event impactful and informative, a Career Coaching section was added to assist students with fine-tuning their job search strategy and tools, in addition to getting expert support from counsellors.

 

A prep clinic recording was also made available for on-demand viewing that shared helpful tips and tricks with APUS students on how to prepare for a very productive career fair experience. This easy yet effective sharing of resources helped the host empower their audience with all the tools necessary to make a brilliant first impression on all employers in attendance, in turn strengthening the host’s reputation as a top candidate source.

APUS was able to host a spectacular virtual career fair enabling their students to network and apply for positions at the best employers in the field of business.
