9 of Our Favorite vFairs Events from 2022

2022 has been a remarkable year for the events industry. vFairs, along with our notable and esteemed clients, was able to host some of the best virtual, in-person, and hybrid events of the year. Exciting themes, brilliant 3D designs, and some of the best outreach and marketing campaigns made these events the best of the best.

vFairs reps Carlos, Wasif, and Stefany shared their top picks from the many inspirational events in 2022. You can watch the webcast and hear all that they had to say.

This blog will showcase some of the best events from 2022 that were creative, engaging, and enjoyed by all attendees.

1: Nestle Go For Innovation Land

Nestle Argentina set up this hybrid event with the main theme of innovation. It was a hybrid event with an interesting 3D design for the main lobby that brought it all together. Argentina still had COVID-19 restrictions at the time of the event, and the hybrid features helped to accommodate all of them.

The event had a clear agenda with a detailed Q&A session. The virtual platform also had a leaderboard and a brilliant photo booth to engage the virtual attendees.

2: H&M Discovery Days

If you’re looking to see an innovative virtual career fair, then no one did it better than the human resources department at H&M. vFairs was able to collaborate with the H&M team to come up with a great virtual career fair design that boosted employee engagement. It was a well-attended event with many informative sessions on leadership, compliance, and growth opportunities.

The exhibit hall had all the departments as individual booths and each showcased the open positions at the company. The event had some of the best diversity and inclusion features this year.

3: Purina Campus Experience & Training

Purina’s event was one-of-a-kind in terms of the graphics because it was highly customized to mirror the actual Purina office in Missouri. The event also had overlay explainer videos throughout the platform and the Purina team was directly involved in creating them with vFairs. The event also had a virtual Purina farm and they focused on showcasing the innovations they’ve made in pet food and health.

The Events Center in the platform mirrored the dog shows that Purina sponsors now and then. The event promoted both blue collar and white collar jobs at Purina and was one of the most inclusive events of the year.

4: Voice of SAP

Voice of SAP had one of the best custom designs for the exterior lobby. The vFairs team was able to execute the vision of the VOSAP team to make the event lobby have a flying-in effect as the attendees entered. The exhibit hall was also different as it showcased two different views; aerial and slide.

The voice of specially-abled people (VOSAP) virtual event was all about accessibility, diversity, and inclusion. Therefore, the event also had extensive accessibility features. It had live sessions with Q&As and a leaderboard.

5: BeWitching Bash 2022

Probably the most innovative and customized event of the year was the Bewitching Bash 2022. The entire event was designed as a Halloween costume party with custom exterior hall, lobby, animated avatars, and exhibit halls. The event had a spooky theme and all the avatars looked like people wearing costumes like skeletons, witches, and zombies.

The vFairs design team worked hard to bring the client’s vision to life. The event also had one of the most exciting photo booths with high engagement due to a costume contest.

6: Yale BBS

Yale BBS was a virtual university open day and had much in store for attending students. The vFairs team collaborated with them to design the entire event to mirror the actual university campus. It was an immersive virtual platform where students were able to interact with each other, faculty, and staff in life-like 3D models of the campus building.

No Open Day can be completed without a campus tour for the students and the vFairs platform was able to achieve that through 360 degree campus images within the platform. The exhibit hall simulated the campus ground and students felt like they were on site.

7: Cleveland Clinic Onboarding Platform

The Cleveland Clinic wanted to design not just an event, but a complete onboarding platform for their new hires that they can use long-term. The vFairs team worked with them to design the exterior lobby to mirror their HQ building. The event had roundtables, custom designed interior & exterior lobbies, and interactive training sessions.

They are using the same platform for executive training as well with easy learning modules. With this platform, they don’t need to design a new event or run training sessions as all of it can be hosted through the same platform.

8: BFUTR 2022

BFUTR 2022 was a hybrid event and vFairs was able to provide on-site support through live badge printing and event mobile app. The event was inclusive, but mostly targeted black professionals. One of the biggest highlights of the event was a live stream with Trevor Noah as the headliner.

The event had multiple other live streams and attracted tons of sponsors because of the scale and attendee count. Attendees were fully engaged with a job booth and a selfie booth that boosted their interest in the event.

9: Hershey IS Conference

The Hershey IS conference had a very simple design but it made a big impact on all attendees. The platform looked exactly like the Hershey factory and had a branded feel. There were interactive booths that attracted sponsors, vendors, and attendees to the event.

The event also offered opportunities for networking for fellow IS colleagues with multi-function chat options. There were informative sessions, vendor booths, and fun games for the attendees as well.
