[News Release] National Association of Collegiate Esports To Host Its NACE National Convention 2022 On July 20-21, With vFairs As a Technology Partner

The NACE National Convention 2022 will empower staff students to learn about varsity collegiate esports. It will take place in both virtual and physical spheres, making it the first hybrid event hosted by the organization. 

Kansas City, Missouri – The National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) is hosting its NACE National Convention 2022 on the 20th and 21st of July, 2022.This will be a hybrid event and is aimed at staff and students to educate them about varsity collegiate esports. Members, non-members, and students can register online here. 

The convention will have unique tracks for different attendee types, such as NACE members, non-member organizations, and students. All three of these groups will have different sessions and agendas, relevant to their requirements. 

In addition, university staff and students will have ample opportunities to network and communicate with each other. This will help build relationships, discuss important issues, and help universities and students find each other. 

The hybrid nature of this event means that it will be the first instance of NACE physical presence since the summer of 2019. As there are over 200 NACE’s members across North America, the combination of virtual and physical event facilities will make it easier for anyone to attend. The NACE team particularly appreciated the return to in-person opportunities. 

There will also be a number of important legislative proposals at the event, and members will vote on them. These proposals will impact NACEinstitutions in the academic year, so members are highly encouraged to participate to get their voices heard. 

Michael Brooks, Executive Director of NACE, said, “vFairs helped us coordinate and execute a hybrid convention as this is NACE’s first hybrid convention.”
