AI matchmaking on the vFairs platform gives full control to the organizer to make sure the best matches are made between attendees and exhibitors. Organizers can set up a criteria and assign weightage to all the fields of interest between attendees and exhibitors. Then, the system picks up those rules and suggests the best matching individuals.

How does the vFairs AI matchmaking algorithm work?

The AI matchmaking algorithm criteria is set up by the event organizer. They can choose which factors are most important for an ideal match and the AI matching will follow those rules.

What data does the matchmaking tool use to connect attendees?

Attendees' profiles including names, job titles, and interests are used. Users can fill in various form fields within the registration form, or fill in their user profile within the event, to be more accurately matched with the right types of people based on skills, interests, or areas of expertise.

Can attendees accept or reject match suggestions?

That option is always available. Attendees can simply choose not to take any action, or they can set up a meeting with their match based on mutual acceptance.

When can attendees use matchmaking during an event?

The organizer decides on the "Networking Hour" either at the start, end, or middle of the event. Attendees get a notification when the networking hour starts, then click on the "1:1 networking" option in the top navigation bar to enter the networking room. However, the AI matchmaking happens whenever the organizers decide. They can either do it before the event, or during the event.

Is the AI matchmaking experience truly random or curated?

It is completely curated and offers personalized AI matches based on the rules that the organizer has set up.
