NASRC 2022 Sustainable Refrigeration Summit To Take Place From Oct 24 To Oct 28, 2022, With vFairs as Technology Partner

The North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC) is bringing together industry experts and stakeholders to advance sustainable refrigeration in supermarkets. 

Mill Valley, California – The NASRC 2022 Sustainable Refrigeration Summit will happen on Oct 24-28, 2022. This virtual event is aimed at the supermarket refrigeration industry, policymakers, and environmental stakeholders. Interested parties can register free on the event home page. 

This event will focus on the solutions to climate damaging refrigerants in supermarkets. Hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants (HFCs) are super-polluting greenhouse gasses (GHGs) commonly used in supermarket refrigeration. HFCs are the world’s fastest-growing GHGs and one of the most potent drivers of climate change. Natural refrigerants, including ammonia, CO2, and propane, are a climate-friendly alternative to HFCs. Still, a unique set of market barriers have prevented widespread adoption in US supermarkets. 

The summit will feature the latest regulatory and industry trends, natural technologies, and the benefits and challenges of moving towards climate-friendly natural refrigerant solutions. It will have 14 sessions spread over 5 days, with lots of knowledge-sharing and relevant discussions.
