JA of Central Iowa Will Host JA Inspire Virtual from January 2nd to June 15th, 2023 with vFairs as Event Technology Partner

The virtual career fair will empower young adults and high school students from 7th to 12th grade with resources needed for their senior year and work-readiness.

Iowa – The Junior Achievement of Central Iowa will host the JA Inspire Virtual Career Fair from 2nd January, 2023 to 15th June, 2023, using the vFairs event platform. The virtual career fair will attract professionals from various career clusters, recruiters, and high schoolers from around the local area. The JA’s mission is to empower students with the tools they will need to excel in any career they choose for themselves. They want to enable students to make the right decision by giving them ample opportunities for skill development through experiential learning. 

The Inspire Virtual career fair will be an opportunity for 7th to 12th grade students to get in touch with professional recruiters from major employers in the area. They can visit virtual booths set up by companies from a wide range of career clusters. Companies will also be able to showcase respective job opportunities, company culture, workforce, and more.

Students at the fair will also get a chance to connect with others from the community and talk to recruiters with real job opportunities. The event will help them plan out the best course of action for their last years at school and make informed decisions about the coursework required for their career of choice.

The first JA Central Iowa Inspire Virtual Fair was able to help over a thousand students with close to 2500 booth visits, 988 video and 70 webinar views. This year, the organizers aim to reach more students from around the area and help them become work-ready.
