Lady Bird Talent Announces Second Annual Hire Women Week with vFairs as Event Technology Partner

Hire Women Week is a call to action for everyone, including male allies, to work towards gender parity, equity, and equality in the workforce. 

Austin, TX – Lady Bird Talent, an organization dedicated to elevating women to tech and leadership positions, is pleased to announce the second annual Hire Women Week. This virtual event will take place from April 24-28, 2023, and is designed to connect professional women with employers in startups, small businesses, and the tech industry. The event will be live through the vFairs event platform and interested attendees can register here.

This year’s keynote speakers include Hannah Williams, founder and TikTok star from Salary Transparency Street, Jess Stewart, a Strategic Business Guide, and Foram Soni Sheth, founder and Chief Coaching Officer of Ama La Vida. 

Hire Women Week will also offer resources and guidance for women looking for work, including a free job board and talent collective. These resources are open to the public and anyone can post open roles here. There are over 15 partner organizations and more than 50 mentor sessions for women to learn from senior professionals and thought leaders.

Hire Women Week is a response to women being pushed out of the workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic. The consequences erased years of progress the world was beginning to make toward gender parity.
