vFairs Monthly Product Updates: September 2022

For this September, we bring to you some of the most awaited features on the vFairs web platform. With sustainability being top of mind for us and our clients, we’ve developed a new tool to help you evaluate just how eco-friendly your vFairs event is. We’ve also got updated reports and new ways for your exhibitors to stay on top of booth activity throughout the event!

Web Updates

The web updates from this month are all about staying informed about facts and figures concerning your event. Whether it is finding out how well your event performed, staying abreast of communication at your live events, and most importantly, measuring the impact of your hosting virtual events on the environment. 

Carbon Emissions Calculator 

Human activity is altering the environment more than ever and calls for everyone to do their part to avert grave consequences. And to be more accountable for our efforts, we have launched our Carbon Emissions Calculator. 

Now you can measure the number of carbon emissions you can prevent when you opt for a virtual event. The carbon emissions calculator also displays the number of trees it would have taken to remove the emissions had you not attended a virtual event. 

The carbon emissions calculator shows each user how they have reduced their carbon footprint by attending a virtual event. Upon clicking on the calculator, you see:

• The reduced number of carbon emissions because you attended a virtual event.
• The number of trees it would have taken to clean that carbon from the environment.

So if you are making up your mind to go virtual with your events, now is the time to make it happen and do better for the environment.

Consolidated PDF Reports

Receiving live feedback is an effective way to qualitatively measure how well your event performed but being able to record responses with a combination of metrics and figures is always a more promising way to measure your event’s success. 

And even though staring at a CSV file with data running on and on may not be a sight to see, we’re always on the hunt to make things better for you. Now with the consolidated PDF reports, you can view data and numbers in a much more visually appealing manner, that is easy on the eyes and gives you an objective idea of how your event performed for your audiences. 

Forget about creating visuals from scratch and view booth stats and login particulars in a designed and organized format, making it easy for you to share reports with concerned event stakeholders. 

Desktop Notifications for Booth Representatives

Booths are likely to become engagement hotspots at your virtual events, with representatives juggling between attending visitors at their booth, speaking with users, scheduling appointments, and attending any priority sessions. When booth representatives have this much on their plate, it is a no-brainer to lose sight of a chat notification. 

To make it easier for booth representatives to keep track of chat notifications, even if they step away for a coffee break, we present to you the Desktop Notifications feature. The desktop notifications feature allows booth representatives to keep tabs on all private messages they receive from users, even if their browser window is minimized.
