TCOE’s 2nd Annual PK-12 Educational Employment Fair – Southern California to be Held on May 18, 2024, with vFairs

Los Angeles, CA—The California Center on Teaching Careers and the Los Angeles County Office of Education have announced the 2nd Annual PK-12 Educational Employment Fair—Southern California. The event will be held on May 18, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This hybrid event will be hosted at the Los Angeles COE Education Center West in Downey, CA, and virtually through vFairs. Interested candidates can register here. 

This event is designed for those seeking employment in teaching and non-teaching roles, including single-subject, multiple-subject, special education, preschool, substitute teaching, clerical, janitorial, bus driving, and other classified positions. Attendees will gain insights into education workforce opportunities in Southern California and the tools needed to launch their careers.

Jonathan Mendoza, spokesperson for the California Center on Teaching Careers, emphasized the importance of this event: “The mission of the Center is to elevate the teaching profession through attracting new and existing talent to impact teaching and learning in California’s 21st Century classrooms.”
