Essential Tremor Virtual Education Conference Planned for October 29, with vFairs as a Technology Partner

The International Essential Tremor Foundation will bring together experts, scientists, patients, and family members for a day of learning about essential tremor. 

Lenexa, Kansas – The first ever Essential Tremor Virtual Education Conference will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 9 AM to 1 PM CST. Hosted by the International Essential Tremor Foundation (IETF), it is open to anyone affected by essential tremor (ET). 

The conference will bring together medical professionals, scientists, researchers, and other ET experts to discuss the latest treatments and strategies for living with the condition. . The event is free and registration is open now. 

ET impacts 7-10 million people in the United States alone. It is a neurological condition characterized by a rhythmic trembling of the hands, head, voice, legs or trunk. It is often confused with Parkinson’s disease, but is eight times more common. . 

Along with speakers who are nationally known physicians and researchers in the field of movement disorders, the online conference will include roundtable discussions and chat rooms to allow attendees to connect and share information. Clinicians and medical companies will also showcase some of their latest resources for ET treatment and management.
