Downey, CA – The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) and Tulare County Office of Education (TCOE) have announced the 4th Annual PK–12 Educational Employment Fair, a premier recruitment event aimed at connecting school employers with highly qualified education professionals. The event will take place on May 16, 2026, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (PDT), at the LACOE Education Center West (East Lobby) in Downey, California. Education professionals seeking new opportunities are encouraged to register and attend.
The event is designed for candidates pursuing both teaching and non-teaching roles for the 2026–2027 academic year, including credentialed teachers (multiple subject, single subject, and education specialists), paraprofessionals, substitutes, and classified staff. Attendees will gain direct access to hiring representatives from public school districts, charter schools, and universities across Los Angeles County, offering a valuable platform to explore career opportunities, build connections, and advance within the education sector.
“The mission of the Center is to elevate the teaching profession by attracting new and existing talent to positively impact teaching and learning in California’s 21st-century classrooms,” said Marvin Lopez, Director.
Distinguishing itself as a high-impact hiring event, the fair offers opportunities for meaningful, in-person engagement, including on-site interviews and direct interaction with hiring teams. Enhanced event features such as customized candidate badges, streamlined check-in, and integrated contact-sharing tools help facilitate efficient and lasting connections between candidates and employers.
